About.

The 7 O'Clock Cheer is a live music and charity event in Vancouver with the goal of celebrating Health Care Workers in commemoration of their battle against the COVID-19 global pandemic - named after the International phenomenon started by Rory Richards, who began clapping from her balcony in Vancouver’s West End to cheer on hospital staff at their 7:00 PM shift change. Come help us celebrate these brave heroes in the spirit of one of the most powerful and iconic rituals of 2020. In 2021, proceeds from the event will go towards helping build the first publicly funded dementia village in Comox, BC.

Former Clinical Nurse Leader and internationally collected, abstract painter, Donna Giraud will be painting live at this year's event. Throughout the evening, Donna will complete one of her signature, textured 3x4 foot paintings (valued at $3500) and will be auctioning off the piece to one lucky guest. All proceeds of the auction will go directly to charity.

Living and practising in North Vancouver, Donna Giraud is one of the Lower Mainland's most sought after abstract painters. Her work can be found in private and commercial collections all over North America and can enhance and go with a variety of design aesthetics.
